ABOUT THE FOUNDER
I believe we all deserve a life where we work on what truly matters — without being weighed down by financial stress, over-efforting for solutions, or losing touch with our natural rhythm.
That belief led me to leave my corporate career in sustainability, investment, and HR consulting five years ago. It offered security, but not the freedom to choose my projects or shape my days around my own energy.
The exploration of my next step resulted in joining a founding team of 2 bioregional initiatives in The Netherlands. This led me to The ReGenerOsa Collective and Los Higuerones — two regenerative initiatives nestled in the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica — dedicated to strengthening regenerative social, economical, ecological, and cultural resilience.
The work was everything I had ever dreamt of, yet it didn’t pay financially. Therefore, I had to redefine income and wealth. Drawing from the learnings of my work for Los Higuerones and the ReGenerOsa Collective, years of studying Organizational Science, Strategic Leadership toward Sustainability, and with Indigenous elders and Theory U’s U.Lab, I began practicing regenerative finance (sustainable investing, multi-capital frameworks, alternative currencies, and non-financial exchanges.)
This exploration surfaced a resilient, diversified, and (mostly passive) income model that now sustains my life and impact work and offering my services within the gift economy.
Today, I still dedicate most of my time to Los Higuerones and ReGenerOsa Collective, recommoning wealth and uplifting native, land-based communities through the wisdom they carry.
Besides this work, I founded Holistik Wealth Lab to answer to the requests for 1:1 and group support related to intense (life) transitions and creating business/ community models that demonstrate the more peaceful and harmonious world we all believe is possible.
